Business Award Nominations
Do you know a business or non-profit that has gone above and beyond this past year? With your nomination, we can celebrate their accomplishments.

The Deadline for nominations is 11 pm on September 12, 2025. Awards will be given out on November 1st at the Chamber’s Gala being held at the Killarney Mountain Lodge.
Business Achievement Award
This award will be presented to a business that has been viewed as a leader in the community, an innovator in its field and has a strong track record of community involvement and support. For example the business will:

Demonstrate excellence in business operations including a high level of customer service.

Participate and support community and related activities.
-
Demonstrate product or service diversification to meet changing client needs.
Community Impact Award
This award recognizes a small business that has made a significant positive impact on the local community. Nominees should demonstrate:

Active involvement in community service and charitable activities

Initiative that improves the well-being of the community
-
Partnerships with local organizations or causes
-
Commitment to fostering a sense of community
Employee Choice Award
Nominated by an employee or employees of a business as being an exceptional place to work. For example the business will:

demonstrates a commitment to the well-being of its employees.

Inspires their staff by enabling training programs.

Understand the importance of a work-life balance.
Lifetime Achievement Award
The award will be presented to the entrepreneur of a local business that has exhibited sustainability in their enterprise over a period of 20 years or more. This business will also have illustrated its commitment to continuous success and community involvement by enhancing the economy, life and culture in its community.
Outstanding Customer Service Award
This award will be presented to a business that has provided outstanding customer service with personalized interactions.
Some examples of excellent customer service:

Consistently provides customer service beyond all expectations or perhaps “caught in the act” of delivering exceptional service

Consistent positive interactions and helpful attitude

Has efficiently corrected something that has gone wrong for a Customer

Ensures follow-through in a fast and efficient manner
